    KAY BENJAMIN is a member of SAG-AFTRA.  Her career includes over 20 years as an administrator in social services.  She started acting officially after finishing her Master in Public Administration. Her credits include Horrible Bosses, Better Things, and many commercials.  She can be seen in the upcoming show, The Baxters.  Kay's stage career ranges from Lady Macbeth to a one-woman show on multiple personalities, Journey to Myself.  Reparations is a third play for Kay evolving from a one-woman show. Her production of Insindziso Eswatini (Pray for Healing in Swaziland) included performances in Africa as well as the States.

    YVETTE CASON just finished reprising the role of Lady from the Road in Blues in the Night of Laguna at Laguna Playhouse.  Theatre credits include Shout Sister Shout, Barbecue, A Night with Janis Joplin, Ella the Musical, Dreamgirls, Play On! (Ovation Award), Once on This Island, Ain't Misbehavin', St. Louis Woman, Into the Woods, and Sisterella (NAACP Theatre Award). Film: A Wrinkle in Time, Dreamgirls, and Middle of Nowhere. TV: For the People, Shameless, Real Husbands of Hollywood, King of Queens.  She has toured with Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, David Foster, and Babyface. Education: Berkeley College of Music.

    JOY DEMICHELLE is an actress, healing arts practitioner and Urban Zen Integrative Therapist.  Joy enjoyed the honor of recently performing in the 2019 HomelandLA Storytelling series which raised over $100,000 for The Midnight Mission.  A few of her theatrical credits include: Sweat (Mark Taper Forum), Off-Broadway (American Place Theatre), Stonewall Jackson's House (Actors Theatre of Louisville), A Raisin in the Sun and The Water Hole (Denver Center Theatre), Seven Guitars and Blues for an Alabama Sky (Crossroads Theatre), Piano Lesson, Spirit North, a one-woman piece entitled Harriet's Return, and Darker Face of the Earth (Fountain Theatre). Television/Film: For the People, Criminal Minds, Parenthood, Life to Me, Outlaw, American Gun, Taking Back Our Town (with the late Ruby Dee), Judging Amy, Kingpin, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Strong Medicine, and One Life to Live.  She has appeared in numerous national commercials.  Education: BFA, North Carolina A&T State University; MFA: Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts. She awarded the prestigious Bettenbender Outstanding Performance Award.  Joy is grateful for her loving and supporting family!

    JULIETTE JEFFERS is a Caribbean-American actor, writer, director, producer, and educator.  Some of her theatre highlights include five solo plays that she wrote and performed in ...Batman and Robin In the Boogie Down (Bronx Council on the Arts Award, Drama Desk, NAACP noms), ChocolateMatch.com, Pan Gyul, Judgement Day and Tio Pablo (In English & Spanish - Best Play and Best Actress awards--Hollywood Short & Sweet Fest).  On screen, Juliette has appeared in fifteen films, thirty guest star TV roles and over fifty national commercials.  As an educator, Juliette has taught acting classes to youth in NYC and she teaches in correctional facilities in LA.  She also teaches solo show workshops and is an acting coach.  She has helped develop and directed several solo shows.  Juliette also serves on the screening panel and is a Board Member of the LA Women's Theatre Festival.

    TANAYI SEABROOK has performed multiple roles in front of and behind the camera over the past 15 years.  For five years, Tanayi was on staff at Blackside, Inc., producers of the landmark civil rights documentary series Eyes on the Prize.  Tanayi worked on the Blackside programs I'll Make Me a World: A Century of African American Art and Artists as well as This Far By Faith: African American Spiritual Journeys.  In 2010, she wrote, produced, and acted in a short film entitled The Cab, which won Best Shortie Short at the Urban Media Makers Film Festival in Atlanta.  Tanayi has booked numerous commercials, appeared in an episode of the Lifetime Movie Network's series My Crazy Ex, and is continuing to develop her acting, producing, and writing skills as it relates to both documentary and narrative storytelling, with a focus on stories told from a woman's perspective.  Tanayi has two awesome children who always keep life "real" and popping...!
